      ISO 1600, and far too slow for the focal length, exif is in the gallery

          Like a lot of 'genuine' shots of wild creatures it has been limited by the conditions and the owls choice of home, but it is always nice to see the actual creatures outside of captive conditions.

              It's a great achievement to even find that owl in the wild, let alone get a picture!

                Honesty alone forces me to own up that the 'spotting' was done by someone else (there are a lot of birders at Coate). I just had to follow directions to find it.

                But I did hold the camera and push the shutter button

                  How cool is the Owl, cute little fella.

                  I really like the 2nd shot. I like the way the Owl appears framed with the bushes around him. I think the colours and textures are brilliant.

                    Actually of course it is the tree framing the owl, this critter was about 25ft up a tree, a difficult angle to hold/steady the 90-250.
