  • The joy of being a grandparent

I'm useless at photographing babies and young children.Allways get them backlit or moving, don't like using flash and frightening them etc. etc. However the snaps I take of our granddaughter Maisie Elise are my most treasured images. Masie and my son and his partner live in Norfolk so we only get to see her about once a month. We went to visit this weekend so I decided to post some of this months snaps. Maisie is 11 months old now and although she shows no interest in crawling she has worked out how to stand up using furniture or peoples legs to climb up and I think she will be walking very soon. Its amazing to see how much she has changed each month going from a helpless baby to a real little person with her own character in such a short time.

she looked at me and said "It's official. I hate your camera. It's just so amazing and perfect I want one!"
