  • The "Cat's" dinner.

Well not really dinner, more of a breakfast.
This is a freshly killed Water Buffalo, part eaten.

    E-510 50-200SWD

Just a few yards away this Lioness sits, digesting it's meal. Not easy to spot her even though I was very close.
Taken with the kit lens @ 42mm.

A little clearer when I zoom in.

    A quick wash before bed.

Photos taken a couple of weeks ago in Kenya.

    Close enough for the 42mm!
    Close enough for death!

Good you're not a meal then.

We were only about 20ft from the Lioness. But quite safe in a safari truck.
Most of the wildlife are so used to the trucks that they just totally ignore them.
