Managed to creep out from work yesterday lunchtime, it was a dull day on the coast and this was a shot that I'd had in my minds eye for a while so took the opportunity, personally I like the square crop, it keeps all the elements tight in the frame.
I like the movement in the ...(What's the english word? Merry go-around?!?) You know.. as a forground interest and the burnt pier in the background. Nice conversion to B/W as well.
I like this, and B&W is just right. If I'm being picky, I'd like a little shift to the left to give more space between the edge and the remains of the pier. I think there's enough of the merry-go-round to lose a little on the right.
