Not much of a problem for these then ...

Taken in June when it was really hot ( remember that )

I was helping lead a walk in a local cemetary where I was the building & memorial stones expert and a friend did all the history etc. Whilst he was doing his bit I was able to skirt around with a camera







The entrance / chapel is stunning as well. I did one of these from even further back, but the amoutn of sky was too much so I've opted to show you the closer in version even if it does crop the building a little

No 2 looks like she's praying for rain.
It was that sort of weather last Sunday in Edinburgh. (see elsewhere in the forum)
I always think you can 'hear' the heat as a distant white noise when its like that.
Or do I just need the wax taken out of my ears?

I struggled with #2

The spot of light on the right eye troubled me. You can't get a statue to turn towards the sun can you ( weeping angels aside and I was in Cathays not Southerndown for those who know their Dr Who locations )

I tried both removing it and lighening that side of the face, but was happy with neither so the one you see is basically the ooc just cropped slightly and resized
