    St Mary's church in Thornecombe, Dorset. Lovely village in West Dorset where, when the village shop closed down, the villagers got together and took in over and now run it. The story made the national newspapers.

    Nice shot, the chancel looks quite late and well victorianised.

    There is always a difficulty with perspective in churches when you have to shoot with the camera on an angle, they are not very forgiving places.

      This is an extract of the link above the photo:-



      It was built near the original church which was too small as the congregation had grown in Victorian times. It's shrunk since then! It's also interesting as the Parish used to be in Devon.
