  • I wonder if they are still there?

I've had these lurking unprocessed on my hard drive for over a year and thought I'd better do something with them. They were all taken in April 2009 amongst a ramshackle collection of huts and caravans that have fallen into disrepair as they teeter on the brink of the fast eroding cliffs at Skipsea, East Yorkshire. In fact, I wouldn't like to bet that they are even still there!

    Comments welcome.

They look like the accomodation we were given on our first ever Sun (collect the vouchers) holiday

Great textures in these old huts John. They must have been loved and cared for at one time.

      Hi John,

All the 'semi-permanent' buildings to the sea side of the path have gone

Some appear to have been 'improved'

Is this the path/road to nowhere?

        Hi Rod,

Thanks for checking them out. It's amazing to learn that they have all gone in less than 18 months, just shows how fast that section of coast is eroding. I see that the one on the other side of the track is still there, but I wonder how long for?
