A Night on the Thames

Well not strictly true, the first one was taken early evening using the infamous welding glass filter. Although it was fairly easy to adjust the WB, the image seemed to benefit from a monochrome treatment because of the rather disappointing sky.

Sadly the whole evening/night suffered from a flat covering of cloud that lacked interest and later served to reflect the street lighting. To get around this I PP'ed several of the images.

Like number 6 a lot.

I was eating in the pizza place just near the OXO tower the other night
but it poured with rain so no pictures.Probably very near where your number 2 was taken.

I like no.5 with the ghostly images. May have been even better had they been a bit more defined.

Interesting set.

My favourite is number 5 but.....

I'd play with levels/curves just a bit to pull out details of the paved road in number 5. There are some lovely details which really contrast/balance the skyline but are lost (at least on my calibrated screen).
