I took this photo on a recent outing to Ardingly Resevoir, this shows the hide at the northern end of the water, from here you can spy on all manner of wildlife.
I deliberately set out to show movement in the foreground so slowed the shutter speed.

I like it...good comp with the lead in and the f/g showing the wind and as if you was looking through the undergrowth.
All I know about mono is that you have to have a good mix of light and dark and this does.IMHO
