  • Great Paint Job

I have had a request for a bigger picture of an F-16 at Waddington Airshow, by far the best turned out aircraft of the day.

    Regards

      Ian,

The aircraft pictured flew in a flypast with another F-16 and an A-330 before landing with the other F-16. This aircraft performed a solo display towards the end of the day, the other F-16 may have appeared in the static park on the Sunday. No idea which base they were from, they were just listed as Belgian Air Force component. It is a shame thet the Typhoon cannot be painted in a similar paint scheme - it would look far better.

Very unusual paint job for a warplane. Makes you wonder just what it's camouflaged from?

          Nice shot, btw.

Well, if it came down on the sea somewhere and floated, it would be well camouflaged..........and not be found!

"Belgian Air Force component?" I thought it was the whole Belgian Air Force!

I agree, nice paint job and great shot.
