By chance, I bought a copy of AP last week and an article suggested using a white perspex sheet to give a white background to flower photographs. I've often used top-lighting and a black card to highlight flowers, but never white, so I gave the technique a go.
The perspex was an old Jessops back-projection table-top screen, hand held, as was the E-300 (with kit 14-45). I think I could have got more even lighting of the background, but the technique seems worth trying with suitable subjects - like a rose with less marks on the petals.
Anyone else tried this?
