  • Oranje everywhere!

No great pictures, but these are just to show you that our country is coloured orange now in view of the final of the world championships football next Sunday. Houses, gardens, streets and people, everything is orange. One big party so far. Even in the swimming pool I discovered these boys wearing orange caps...........

It is not always practical, while you are swimming...

    Regards,
    Wilma

I'm totally neutral and look forward to an entertaining and exciting match between two great teams that thoroughly deserve to be in the final. May we have lots of goals and may the best team win. I've really enjoyed watching the World Cup since I've been spared the heartache and agony of watching England play. I'll always support them and will them to win, but I rarely enjoy watching them.

I was in Belgium on Friday afternoon and the bar I was in was packed with Netherlands supporters.
            Good luck to your team.
            Best Regards

Ah Wilma, all that enthusiasm you mention reminds me of the atmosphere here only a little while ago when we could also dream ...........

BTW, any offers for an England vuvuzela, hardly used?

                  Re: Oranje everywhere!

Thanks for the support, guys! Of course I want the Netherlands to win, but the Spanish are strong. Anyway it will be a fantastic game if both teams play the way they are able to (the Dutch haven't shown the nice football we are used to, but that does not matter. They got to the finals in that way). Enjoy the game on Sunday!

@ Baldyb: Next Monday I will have an orange one for you if you want to. Hate that thing my son always uses during the game. So even if they win, the d**** thing has to go!

@ Andy: I think I know the same names and yes, better not to name them here. I am sure you could have used them during the game with the english team and the robbed goal. (Here we call it the Blatter-goal).
