Hoverfly Book Just Published

I have just received my copy of the just-published 3^rd edition of Hoverflies of Britain and Ireland. With hoverflies being one of the most photographed groups of insects, I thought it might be of interest here.

I covers 177 species (representing 69 genera). The 1,048 images are not just the usual sort. Identification features are pointed out very clearly. There are also distribution maps and biological facts such as behaviour and habitat requirements.
