I get emails from Temu advertising cheap stuff. I read stuff that say they and another Chinese company are doing this to force western companies out of business and then they will be able to take over the markets. It is tempting to go for cheap stuff, but is it really signing the death certificate of many western companies?

I'm with you there... my other half loves Temu. I installed the app but then couldn't see anything that I really needed. Also, having read about some of the working conditions for the Chinese workers I'm slightly turned off by the idea.

The same goes for Amazon - whilst I've got Prime, when I order I always use 'Amazon day' and build up parcels over the course of a week or two. Once again, t'other half has small deliveries almost daily!

I am with you but unfortunately sometimes you order from UK in the hope of helping jobs only to find it was shipped from China , they will stick any badge on anything :-(

As far as I am aware Temu is just a storefront with no products, so a bit like Amazon Marketplace without the slight security afforded by paying through Amazon.
