I told Microrubbish they can keep Windows 11. I'll stick with Win 10.

But only for the next two years. Support for Win 10 is ending in 2025.
I for one will keep my PC going until at least then (it's not compatible with Win 11) and hope that they give us an extension of support for as long as possible ..... or until my PC goes t*ts up.

Is there a specific age when you become tech befuddled.
In the case of the idiot I dealt with this morning at the GP surgery it must be about 30

So inept I ended up having a a paper scrip because he couldn't manage sending it to Boots electronically
How about Windows 11 for Simpletons

Were you the old man who walked into the surgery, and asked for an appointment to see the doctor? The receptionist asked him what was the problem. He replied loudly, I can't urinate (polite version). The receptionist scolded him, replying, you can't say that here. Go back outside, and when you come in, just say you have something wrong with your ear So he went back outside, walked in, and went over to the receptionist again. She said, with a smirk, now what is the problem with your ear. The old fella replied, I can't urinate (polite version) out of it....

That could have been me, but not on this occasion.

Sounds like a woman I worked with many years ago who wanted some time off for a hospital appointment
Just got a new very officious boss who wanted to know the ins and outs of everything.
In the end after much questioning my colleague explained in detail the desired repair to her genitalia after recent childbirth.

Just for those in the Know and for those who say they Know, and those who do NOT know. I'm still using Windows 7 on my laptop. Updates for it ceased a long time ago. That laptop still works, it has not Exploded, It has not said update me or I'll blow up. I not had any Exploits, Hackers, Nutters etc BECAUSE I do NOT go where I should not go with it. ie Pirating, porn, silly other places etc. You do NOT need to update to Win 11. Microsoft is holding you to Ransom just like a Hijacker. Use your Windows 10/8/7 wisely and ALL should be OK. I for one will stick to Win 10. Anyway, this Self Build Tower PC will NOT update to Win10 as my UEFI Bios is set to Legasy as it works a treat. My NEW Tower PC will Update to Win 11 but after reading the problems most were getting with it, and trying it out, Microsoft can KEEP it. I only update the Updates of Win 10 every fortnight to three weeks and my PC still works.

Clever you. I hate that Windows 11 update prompt. Can I dig out that so called security chip?
