Tapatalk & E-Group!

Why do I get pestered to install Tapatalk every single time I access the forum from my phone browser, it doesn't happen anywhere else? It's very (very, very, very) annoying - so much so, I try to avoid coming here now unless I'm not on the phone (which isn't very often). 🙄

I too have noticed that happening, but not enough to annoy me... I have looked through your account settings and cannot see anything that would make it do that or anything else that is obviously causing it.

I have searched the Admin control panel and can’t find anything that is related to TapaTalk. I have however determined that I only get the TapaTalk pop-up on my iPad that is synced to my iPhone that I use TapaTalk on. I don’t get it when using a PC.

I get it on my iPad Mini too, but not on my iPhone. Both are using iOS 12.4. I have never gone anywhere near Tapatalk so I have no idea why I'm being asked about it! Usually it asks just once per browser session I think so it's only a minor irritation.

I started occasionally getting it on the iPad with Chrome on iPadOS v13. It is a source of confusion rather than annoyance. I am not really interested in the app it wants me to use - browsers on mobile devices are pretty good now.
