  • Birthday gadgets

I have a birthday coming up, I get one every year, and it presents (??) the same problem, "what do you want"? asks her indoors. So, what useful cheap gadgets would you folk recommend, and I mean cheap, top price £25.00, she has already paid for something I bought for myself, non photographic. I look forward to your suggestions.

Thanks Derek, but not sure what it does, apart from viewing slides. I do have a proper lamp in the room I use to print my work.

To illuminate items that you wantto photograpgh - eg small pottery, slides etc - any thing that you need a flat light for.
It could be a new source of inspiration.

Always difficult to work put b'day pressies etc. If I want or need something, I go and buy it, birthday ort not...

i tell my kids, always buy consumables. that way it does not sit on the shelf gathering dust ...
