    How do you clean the outside of your lenses?

    By that I mean the barrel and where the lens hood is attached, not the glass.

    I just use a soft brush for dust, & a damp cloth for any dirt.

      I get spec cleaning tissues from Wilkinson's and use them, on body and lens.

        Don't forget the inside of the lens cap - mine seem to be magnet for dust that then falls onto the lens.

          I've used a very slightly damp cloth in the past, but wondered if there was any special knack to it, so thanks for the tips

          I'll have a look out for some lens cleaning tissues, hadn't thought of those.

          Do you think some of the dust is attracted by static?
