          Some cold weather? It’ll mean the winter thrushes are about once more and we might even get a woodcock in the garden again ( flew off before I could get the camera).

            All I can say is that I have "proper tyres" on both my 4x4's this coming year.

            Snow chains are ready for the Suzuki and shovel's already in the back of the Landy

              I would like to agree with you Andy, but there will be 22 million other drivers out on the roads, most of whom won't have the right tyres and certainly won't have a clue about driving on snow.

              Until you can drive over the top of them....
