No, Paul, I'm using both digital and analogue, digital primarily for colour and film for B&W. I also use digital as a Polaroid, as it were, prior to committing precious film. Not many will understand this, but for me the analogue process represents a good proportion of the appeal of photography.
That Yashica is an abomination, a totally stupid concept; a camera masquerading as a film camera, like something designed on the apprentice.

Yes, I agree. Totally stupid - and yet, it's received way over its crowd-funding target. I guess it goes to show just how much money is washing around the global financial system!

Why not just make a film camera?

I got the SD card out of my camera with one hand. Not so sure I could manage loading film left handed...

It's really sad to see a great old name like Yashica do something so stupid. I just can't understand how they got the funding support.

Not at all, even a 5x4 film camera will beat it by miles, if time allows it's proper use.
But for my purposes, where I'm not likely to print larger than A3, the MFT option is generally quite good enough for me. Also my digital systems are considerably quicker to work with, so I've not done much at all with my 5x4.

Used a Sinar 10x8 at work, but would hate to have to try using that one handed, so many adjusting screws and other fiddly bits. Plus it weighed a ton.

Yes, we need more companies entering the film market, new cameras. How many remain apart from Leica (God bless them).

Whilst I have the deepest sympathy for your affliction from which I'm pleased to hear that you're well on the way to recovery, it pales by comparison to chronic lumbral spondylosis affecting all my limbs, especially my left leg that has a nasty habit of unexpectedly collapsing at the groin, so I'm a fellow lefty. Photographically the solution has been to minimize my travel kit to a phone and an ageing XZ2, which hopefully will see me out!

Today I tried shooting left handed with the E-M1. With the grip on, LH use in portrait orientation, is not bad. But for anything serious, it will have to be on a tripod, as zoom with one hand is very tricky.
Handedness tends to diminish with age anyway.

At at age of about 70, I played tennis for the first time, just a knock around with the family. I found I could use the racket in either hand with no obvious difference in feel or effectiveness.

In my case, a decade practicing karate may have helped this trend.

That's interesting, because I discovered I can play the piano as bad with my left hand as I do with the right...

I'm like that with the organ, too! As for feet, I naturally have three left feet, as I found out years ago when I tried dancing lessons.....

BTW - Ed Sheeran has broken his right arm, having been knocked off his bike in London. That should really improve his guitar playing no end!

But you need two hands to load a Leica with film! (Well, my IIIc is like that...) I have a 1950s Krasnogarsk F21; that used a magnesium cartridge, which, once you'd loaded it with film, could be dropped in with one hand - either hand. Guess it needed to be like that for the intelligentsia employed by the KGB!
