  • The Calendar

I don't think anyone uses the Calendar on this site, as It stops at December 2015.

    Re: The Calendar

I agree that seems to be a limitation

I will look for a setting to change (Ian may already know), but as no one has asked about it for quite some time (obviously) I wonder what people would like to see on it before we reactivate it as its always best to have a clear requirement

    Regards

How about local exhibitions and fairs? Get forum members to post what's on in their area?

Since Ian is in the process, I believe of replacing the forum software is it worth trying to change this now?

          Re: The Calendar

I know this is old but the calendar has been fixed. The setting was wrong and would have been carried forward as incorrect with the forum software upgrade.

              No problem Andy.

As to the forum upgrade here. As previously discussed, there would be some fundamental differences and I'm not sure these would be welcomed; We may have to do without the 'Thanks' function, theough 'Like' will remain. We'd also have to switch gallery platforms. These changes on Four Thirds User were not without problems and I want to ensure that any upgrades will run more smoothly here before committing. Digital Photography Now will be the next site to be upgraded and the e-group here will be the last as it is the busiest forum of the three.
