Re: Family Locked Out of Car Helped by Hacker
Another good reason to buy a car built in good old Blighty, or Europe at least.
I have had to purchase replacement keys in the past owing to malfunction from wear and tear. Whilst expensive they have at least been available.---------------

Re: Family Locked Out of Car Helped by Hacker
I read a very interesting article in the London Evening Standard yesterday about a car salesman who on selling a new car 'kept a spare key for safekeeping'. He then gave the keys to an accomplice who stole the new vehicles on the day they were delivered.
I hope this link works: London Evening Standard - Car Theft---------------

Re: Family Locked Out of Car Helped by Hacker
I could think of much better and cheaper punishments for car salesmen.
Just for starters, gag them and tie them to a chair in the showroom so their colleagues get all of their commission.
Send in customers who refuse to buy overpriced GAP Insurance, Extended Warranty, Tyre and Alloy Wheel Insurance and fancy polishing systems with new cars.
Best of all, make them take a 'truth pill' before each day's work in the showroom. That would cut the bullshit, and their commissions!---------------
