Many thanks for that sound advice which I will summarize in my notes.
The show is a combo of Painting, Photography and Handcrafts. I have no real qualifications for judging handcrafts other than what may take my eye, so in that section I'll need to confer with the organiser herself.
Being a sole judge is a daunting and unenviable role. It means being subjected to a likely wave of silent disappointment and antipathy from the unmentioned many.
