Second camera body

I have an EM10 which I use with different lenses. This morning in the hills it was very cold and windy, and my fingers were numb with cold. Changing lenses in those conditions was testing for me, a good potential for a dropped lens and potentially a dust on sensor problem.
I would therefore like another 16mp small micro 4/3 body for my 40-150 plastic mount Oly lens. I do not need anEVF although it would be good to have. Can anyone recommend a cheap secondhand m4/3 body that has a decent 16mp sensor please ? Or would you advise just getting another EM10 ?

E-M1 is a fantastic camera and available at stupidly low prices these days. That would be my choice. If you prefer something smaller, then another E-M10 or the E-M5 woulds be sensible choices. Both the 5 and the 1 are weather sealed of course.

If you are going to use the two together I would suggest having two bodies the same. The general architecture, menus etc. are pretty common across the Olympus line but there are subtle changes in button placement and so on which can catch you out if you are running two at once.

I think John's advice is wise. However if you get two different bodies, try to ensure they use the same type of battery.

The EM1 and EM5 (Mk 1) both use the same battery. Not sure about the others.

If you don't need the EVF then you have a number of choices. My first m43 camera is an E-PL5 which I now use to back up my E-M10 though I rarely carry them both.
The E-PL5 might be worth a look but look out for sticky/skipping rear wheel/dials.
It doesn't have the same level of stabilisation as the E-M10 which might be significant to you?
The E-P5 might be worth a look if you can find one, smaller until you add the 40-150

The MkI E-M5 and E-M10 are both cheap used.
I know the MkI E-M1 isn't big but it is bigger than the E-M10 which is the limit for what I'm prepared to carry but it's a lot of camera for not a lot of money now.

The E-PL5 uses a different capacity battery to the E-M10 but the batteries do fit in both bodies.

Thanks everyone for your advice and info. Seems the sensible solution is to look for a good used mark 1 version of an EM series.
