Grabbed this with my phone through the portal window

    Well not quite I wish.

It was with my phone though hence posting in the lounge. I grabbed it by holding the phone over the eyepiece of my new telescope and then adding a bit of Snapseeds drama filter. I need to get an adapter to fit my EM1 next so I can legitimately post in here. If anyone has any suggestions what adapter to use I'd be very grateful as this is very new to me but fun though.

    To infinity and beyond......

Nice bit of toggerry, a super idea and an interesting result.
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

Not sure what telescope you have but assuming it has a 1.25" eyepiece holder which most do.

      Then you need two things
      1. 1.25" T mount camera adapter
      2. T adapter - micro 4/3.

I got them from this store

      First Light Optics

      Specifically these two items.
      https://www.firstlightoptics.com/ada...a-adapter.html

      and

First Light Optics - Suppliers of Astronomy telescopes, binoculars and accessories from Skywatcher, Celestron, Meade, William Optics, Atik, Imaging Source, Starlight Xpress, ADM, Moonlite, Catseye, Hutech and others.

Make sure you select the micro 4/3 one on the checklist.

Also depending on the specific scope you might need a 1.25" extension tube to be able to get focus but if you contact FLO they will tell you. They are a very friendly helpful bunch.

Good luck in your new astrophotography adventure, as they say "clear skies"!!

Thanks guys I will follow up those suggestions. The scope is a Celestron Nexstar 8se and i'm pretty sure the eyepieces are 1.25 as you said.
