  • HELP! Spiffy new VF-4 works with E-P5 but not E-PM2

I'm utmost perplexed. What's that all about? My latest foray into eBay works beautifully with my E-P5 (a real holy moly moment, when compared side by side, with my VF-2) but not with the E-PM2. I'm guessing it's something to do with it detecting proximity to my eye, but can't find a relevant setting on the Pen Mini. Any ideas?

There's a button on the RHS of the VF4 allowing you to manually toggle the EVF. Not sure whether that's anywhere near the problem you're describing, or if it helps you at all?

Could it be a firmware issue? Not sure if that camera needed a firmware update to use with the vf-4. Could be worth checking.

      Cheers,

      Ralph.

Could be. Also has me wondering if the button on my unit is faulty....

Thanks. I don't think I've ever done a firmware upgrade on the E-PM2.
