  • and this weekend ?

We have two more weeks of children here The Great Toy Sale began a few weeks ago

I have just cleared my stock of emergency nappies and odds and soddss left over ... from past children ... only one babe in nappies and his Parents shall get hundreds of "freebies" ; swim pants and trainer pants and may never need to buy more for the next year until he is out of them

Stress levels have been high ... what with the Developers ; Planning and purchase of holiday home "Bolt Hole and Retirement House" - as we are to be off in the Camper lots Touring this Autumn with a few motorbikes and Mr. Huggy Henry home for Christmas and New Year, then Spain in January and all points of interest, unexplored in England ; Scotland and Wales in 2015

Photography and use of my fab ONE Kit and prime lenses, has taken up residence on the "back shelf" for now ! as making up packing boxes and filling same and taking them to the Storage Containers we have in Sussex is the main task these days.

I am quite glad for not very good Dragonflys weather this weekend maybe next weekend I shall pop over to Thursley Nature Reserve with the ONE and I have two big Equestrian Events to cover next weekend friends and their trusty steeds.

What are you up to this weekend ?

    Re: and this weekend ?

Still bumping about in the wet dessert, another 10 to 12 days yet. Then if all goes well (i.e. no body else needs emergancy cover) the Wife and I are taking the tent (and the sofa, etc) to Portugal for a while from about the 8th of next month, before Looe festival.
Taken up photography so I can legally shoot people and chop off thier heads!

Got up for the sunrise. By the time I got down to the bay the cloud was so thick there was no pre-sunrise colour and you couldn't tell where the sun rose. 30 minutes after getting home the rain started. 2 hours later the thunder started and the rain got heavier. The lawn's been partly under water since mid morning. On the other hand I had a Common Loon (Great Northern Diver) fly over calling down at the bay, a flock of Wild Turkeys and family party of Sandhill Cranes on the way home and a female American Redstart in the garden a few minutes ago.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.
