Anyone hear DB on "Getting the Picture", Radio 4 at 11.30? He talks to Tim Marlow, final part next Thursday.

Thanks, dug out the old steam internet and listened to both programmes on BBC iPlayer. Interesting, quite a complex character.

Have had the privilege (thanks to Ian) several years ago to have met him at the E3 launch in London. What a smashing chap he is too.

I was lucky enough to have met both David Bailey & Don McCullin at Photo Kino in Berlin in the 80's when I was working as a PJ for the US Government in West Berlin, I went to the show to meet up with Mr Tanaka (who worked for Nikon then) and they were at the stand so we got talking.

Really nice, friendly gents and pretty awe inspiring gents of skill - one of the highlights of my career in Berlin!

Weirdly I met him and Don McCullen (sp?) at an exhibition opening at the V & A in the mid 80's.
