Hi folks,
A few weeks back I bought a pristine 70-300 from Chris spencer on this forums for sale thread.
A beautiful, almost factory fresh lens arrived at my house and I was keen to get out and try a few shots.
Well as you know, the weather has been dull and wet and I know from reading posts about this lens, that it requires a decent amount of light. I got fed up taking poor shots with camera shake, due to slow shutter speeds, and lots of noise from having to up the iso.
I then thought...why not try one of the night time scene modes on the E520.......and hey presto the 70-300 loved it
!
I have taken some shots this morning on a very dull, drab day and they have come out really well. I will post a few when I get home....they are totally uninspiring pictures but they prove it works.....give it a go...you will be surprised
