Just had an email from Photobox offering me discounts of picture Xmas cards, lo and behold on the front of the email is a picture of mine !! Took a couple of years ago and sent to Photobox for a print and they have used it on an email advert!!
Remembering some on here who's pics have been used without permission.....!! am I pleased yes, but .....the debate opens again..

Maybe it's a personalized email. You would have to find out if your image goes out to everyone.

Vistaprint have in the past sent me personalized emails showing how a previously uploaded picture of mine would look on some of their other merchandise.

As Steve said, it's a personalised email. I also got the same email from Photobox with mock ups using my images.

Just shows the power of the Forum members eh.... you only have to ask and someone will know something, I had actually deleted it quite quickly then thought ....wait a minute I remember taking a picture like that??

Don't mind if it's only sent to me......i'll ask someone I know if they received the same email.

I have had a couple of emails from Photobox advertising Christmas Cards and it showed a picture I had taken a couple of years or so ago that I had sent it to PB to print on a mug.

So no panic - only problem would be if it was a picture of an ex......... or a 3 to 5.
