More seriously. There was an item of news the other day about people buying up large amounts of tickets for popular events using automated software, with the intention of selling them on to agencies for a large profit.
I guess that's what's been going on with the Python event, as the tickets have been reported as having been sold out in 44 seconds!

A lot were on eBay shortly after the release
We've been lucky to get two tickets for my girlfriend and her dad (as his Christmas present). Eye watering when compared to some of the tickets. I'm a little jealous.
I'm sure he would have been happy with a shrubbery instead.Comment
