  • Jon Pear aka Seonnaidh - Update

Steve (Stoates) and I visited Jon in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness this evening after a trip to Ffordes in Beauly to get hands on with an E-M1 (but that is another story).
Jon had his operation yesterday and is slowly recovering; he looked very well but by the time we left he was in a little discomfort and ready for some pain killers. Jon is expecting to be in hospital until the weekend and then there will be a period of rest before dancing around the tea room again!
Steve kindly took along a print out of the posts in Chevvyf1's thread for Jon to read at his leisure and he asked us to pass on his heart felt thanks for all your good wishes.
We had first hand experience of some of the 'Tales from the Tearoom' including stories of lovely appreciative customers and of course the inevitable "Numpties"; Jon said he would get back to the forum and tell you all about it just as soon as he feels up to it.
Having thought we were going for a short visit to pass on our best wishes we ended up having a good old gab for the full 2 hour visiting time and all that was missing was a dram or two!

Perhaps on your next visit a wee drop of Talisker might not go adrift .
My regards to the 'middle aged B*****. Well he's no old.

You mean you didn't sneak some in in a Lucozade battle?

Good to hear the news of Jon, thanks for letting us know.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.
