I plucked the pinnions (the tail feathers already went astray whilst spanking the cat) and handed the unfortunate Tit over to Emma:

It was a laborious thing, but after c. 40min. all that was left were some feet:

It takes not even five minutes to swallow a full grown mouse. Here you see how difficult it was to get the Tit down in one piece: it took 45min! The beak is stinging the insides and the wings stick out on either side of the mouth, blocking the whole process for a good time. At last they could be bent into the right direction and all went down well. But we don't need to repeat this one ...
