  • What is it called when?

I take a series of photos, lets say walking along a road, and stitch them together. Is it still called a "Panorama" as there is no fixed shooting point or is there some other name for it.

I'd called it a stroll - now let's see the picture (actually I can see an image with a mixture of soft and sharp areas).

I think the skill will be in morphing them together so the joins don't show.

Definitely keen to see the result. You may suffer from the fact that the background will "move" relative to the foreground. I would call this a parallex effect but others may know of the correct term.

Anne says would there be such a term as it is an unusual but interesting concept?

Just like that - gone in a flash! Now in use.
