Wow, there are some amazing images in that album. There's a hint of the tragic in those shots, of decay, ruin, abandonment, and of course, such wonderful colors. The rain really did you a favor, I think, soaking those wrecks as it did. I like the closer-up best, I think, not in the sense of being shown detail so much as the various photographic elements representing pure form, and simultaneously as familiar objects of mechanical wizardry. I think you should return with a tent, camp out for a week and take a few thousand more photographs.
And with a macro lens, to bore down on the rotten metal and flaking paint!
