But seriously, was it necessarily an iPad - maybe an HTC or Galaxy?
To Apple's advantage, in the battle of the tabs/pads, the term iPad seems to have aquired the status of a common noun covering all such smartphone devices regardless of brand.

I think Samsung should rename their product, gTab, or gPhone - but then as 'g' precedes 'i' Apple in an attempt to ban it would probably claim it was a copyright infringement !

Some time ago there was a newspaper ad. (video) showing this, but spoilsports at Apple had it taken down off U-tube.
