  • Weather proof - Justifications Wanted

With all the rain we are having this "Summer", do you think I could get away with convincing my wife that I have worn out my mju1030SW and that I need a TG-1 for when the weather takes a turn for the worse

Any suggestions for any other good "Reasons" I could use

    Try:

In these difficult financial times Olympus needs customers to justify the continued support of existing product lines and if they are denied that support the value of my existing investment will drop - so I NEED to get a new camera.

      How about:
"I've decided not to buy the weatherproof OM-D and so am saving us a ton of money by buying this cute little Tough camera instead."

But then what excuse does he use to buy an OM-D?

How about, "Someone must have cloned my credit card because I didn't order this. Thank goodness the shop used my registered cardholder's address or I'd have lost out completely. I suppose I could return it but it's hardly worth all the paperwork and it'll drag on for months. Now it's here I can see a use for it anyway."
