  • Canary Wharf any ideas

On Friday I am going for a photography day trip to Canary Wharf with a photographer friend.

We have visited London several times, mostly to British Museum, South Bank area and Tate Modern. I have never visited Canary Wharf and know little about the photographic opportunities, I was wondering if anybody could give me any tips or ideas to get my creative juices going.

The weather forecast is changing by the hour, the most recent is cloudy, dry but very windy

Get on the riverboat if you can, some good shots. Or on the DLR coming from Bank could give some interesting shots.

Also try up to the end of Westferry Circus and taking a shot up that road looking back to the wharf. There is also a good coffee shop on the riverside there too

If you wonder over to West India Quay you might find some other nice buildings around there too.

And its always windy there because of the high buildings. Don't let the private security bully you either

**Whoops - realised this might be a bit late! Hope you got some good shots

        Hi Folks,
Thank you for the replies. I did go last Friday amidst all the wind and rain. It was, hwoever, a good day and I got some pics. I will post some later.
I think I will be making another trip so the ideas and suggestions will be stored for then.
        Thank you
