G2 lens advice please

I know I ought to be asking this at Ian's other place, but I feel more comfortable here.

I have a mate with a G2.
I was showing him some of my macro shots and he says to his wife "I'd like a macro lens for my birthday"

So obviously she had now asked me to help her. And, I in turn ask for help here.

Whats available?

If it was 4/3rds I'd have all the answers - I think

I've already suggested she might get a good 2nd hand deal but I guess anything that fits the G2 would be good for the new Om 5 thingy so in high demand.

What about close up lenses or a macro adaptor for an existing lens? Over the years I've taken a handful of macro shots, but never enough to warrant a dedicated lens for any camera (though I'm getting closer to wanting one)
