    W Berkshire/N Hampshire heads up!

    Ayup!



    A week tomorrow (Sunday 26th June) is the Hannington village summer fair. This is the village where I work and with which I have bored you guys in various threads:

    This summer fair thing only happens one every two years. I've been working there for about 18 months so I missed it last time round. Starts at mid-day, BBQ, stalls and bunting ...

    Its a small place - don't expect some touristy Cotswold experience. If you stand by the green you could probably see 80% of the village with a mirror on a stick

    Anyway, we hope to be there, other stuff permitting. Should you see an old git with a 70-300, that would be me...

    Well, you may see a few others wearing Olympus camera straps about themselves and using 7-300 Zuiko lenses ... as its just up the road from us !

      Bump, and reminder...

      Just a reminder, if anyone is at a loose end in N Hampshire or W Berkshire, the Hannington Fete is on Sunday, mid-day onwards.

      The village green has been carefully mowed. The bunting has been repaired. The ferrets have been oiled...



      Oh, and so far, the weather forcast is good..

            You'll need to get some images of the Ferret Racing Final. How do you race ferrets - who are the jockeys - do they last the race or are they eaten by their charges? Is this race under BOA rules? Are there random dope tests?
