    Excitment building

    After looking at macro for ages I've sorted finances just in time to discover that my local LCE (Colchester) has a Sigma 150 in.

    They're holdng it for so I can leave the office early and pick it up on my home this afternoon.

    So, once I've learn't how to drive it, I can contribute to the ongoing theme of bug pornographay which seems to be permiating this forum these days.

    I'm waiting for a forum member to get back to me as he was/is selling one here. It's been over 2 weeks now and nothing heard

              Yeh - got it.

              Thanks LCE Colchester. Dave in the shop said he did not think there was much call for Oly stuff and therefore nearly did not take the lens in. I told him Sigma 150's were as rare as hens teeth and he then said he should have asked more!

              Great guy and I informed him of this forum so he may be more willing to get 4/3 stuff in now. I got a Sigma 150 - 400 from him last summer to take on safari which was superb.

              Now to join the ranks of the bug porn merchants.

                  I thought that was the principal use for macro lenses

                      In all seriousness I have a list of things I want to try including flower shots which I seem to be taking a lot of these days. I have some other ideas which, if they work, I'll post.

                      In the meantime however back to trying out this bug porn thing
