I seem only to be asking for help these days.
I have an image in a Keynote presentation that I would like to copy, using a Mac. I click on copy, but cannot paste it anywhere, when I go to "Edit" the paste is greyed out. How can I recover that image so I could enter it in a DPI competition?

You’re on a Mac right? You could display the Keynote slide with the photo full screen then take a screen shot of it with Command-Shift-3.

It should then save a file to your desktop which might be good enough.

Also Google turns up this solution, not sure if it will work as I don’t use Keynote often

For those that are familiar with the "Save Image As…" option in PowerPoint might be disappointed to find that Keynote doesn't have this optio ...

Instead of taking a shot of the whole screen, you can use Command - Shift - 4 and then use your mouse to just select around the image itself by clicking and dragging around the image. Saves you from having to crop the full-screen screenshot. The default setting will save it as a .png file.
