  • Printing problem

I print from Lightroom and have had good results over the years, but recently, Lightroom only wants to print a muddy mono image. I can parting colour using Canon Professional Print and Layout. But, I would prefer to use LR, the process is seamless from editing to printing. Only change I can think of is I am using compatible inks, which print good using canon software. image below is of LR print on the right, canon print of the left. Printer is a Canon PRO-300. Any ideas?

Can't imagine its the inks, can only be a setting that has been accidentally changed.
What do you see if you soft proof in develop?
Maybe create a saved image in print using the simulate ink and paper and see what it looks like.
Could you possibly be double profiling, that can cause some really odd print output?

Dave, did you obtain a mono profile for your printer paper?

I was not clear in my post, I am getting a muddy brown mono when I want colour. The screen showed colour, but it printed muddy brown. Problem fixed now. Updated my Mac and it now prints colour. Don't ask....
Working...
