  • FOUND Olympus BLH-1 Battery - need a spare for my trip

So long as it holds a charge it doesn't have to look pretty though to be fair if it doesn't I may have to question what you've been doing with it

Let me know how much with postage to BB4

I'm looking for one too. I brought a second hand E510 to replace mine because I thought my camera was knackered. It did have issues with the memory card door not staying shut as well. I got a low use camera with additional lenses that I didn't have, all genuine Olympus. I later found out that it was aftermarket batteries that weren't holding their correct voltage but were showing as charged that were causing the problems. Can't help you with a battery but thought you may benefit from my experience in aftermarket batteries

You might find it hard to buy a secondhand battery due to the postage rules set by Royal Mail and others. Basically you cannot send a battery on its own due to safety regulations. I have posted them with a camera or in one instance with a very cheap generic charger from Ebay.
You must state the package contains a Lithium Ion battery and usually a sticker is applied to show that.
I know of two occasions with sellers sending lone batteries having parcels scanned and the contents destroyed.
MPB sell used batteries, seems they can send them and the one I bought has performed well for the past year.
        Plenty here https://www.mpb.com/en-uk/product/olympus-blh-1-battery
