  • Sold BLN-1 Dot.Foto Compatible batteries for Olympus EM1 Mark 1, E-M5, E-M5 II, Pen E-P5, Pen-F, HLD-6

Having sold the camera to MPB they did not want the batteries. They were bought on Amazon last year for our summer holiday. Only one was used briefly during the holiday and neither have been used since. They have good reviews and may do someone a favour.

I can put photos up but they look as they are - new.

I need to find a way to post these so the cost of postage is as yet unsure. Anyone any bright ideas?

    Looking for £12 plus postage.

Go for it Grumps, someone will want/need them. A very good price by the sounds.

My new OM-5 has a different battery shape, why do they have to have a new battery for every/many cameras...@??

Get one of the cheap double usb chargers from Ebay and send them in that legitimately with Royal Mail.
Don't forget to declare at the post office that you are sending batteries and they will put a sticker on.

Thought of that. But not going to get much of the £12 after buying the charger. Might as well bin them as do that.

        Edit

Cheapest double charger is £10 on EBay and comes from China. Leaves £2. I don’t think so.

Why not make it a battery plus charger sale and adjust the price accordingly?
You can't send them legally so it's either collection or get rid.
Be lucky to get 12 quid plus postage anyway, only just over 20 quid for two new ones.

I have found they can be sent legally by courier. Not by Royal Mail. Otherwise Amazon could not sell them and MPB could not have returned them to me.

I don’t agree with you about the price neither does MJ224. Half price for something that is as good as new is in my view good value.

Despite your comment above I am sure they will sell.

What's up with your attitude, try to offer help and all you do is get stroppy, glad you only come here to sell stuff.
So which courier is it then?

Lets say 16 quid all in, is that a good price for year old generic batteries you can buy new for 7 quid more?
I think not and no I don't think anyone will want them.

I think you can send them by Royal Mail as long as you tell the post office there batteries , they then label them appropriately.

Firstly that is extremely irresponsible and batteries sent like that could be transported by air.
Wouldn't want that on my conscience knowing they are a potential fire risk, but hey ho we are all different.
Other reason is that RM regularly scan packages and destroy items those that do not conform to their regulations.

Hardly likely to be sent by air uk to uk . And if you’re a stickler for rules avoid coming to wales later this year when the 30 mph speed limit changes to 20mph . . Not my batteries anyway I have enough for my current needs so I’m out of this one .. I’ll leave you and grumps to argue over it 🤔🤔😳😳😳

Why did you even bother in the first place and again you are wrong
Items regularly travel by air within the UK.

Your passive aggressive approach is so sad but typical of a keyboard warrior.

Anyway you need not bother yourself anymore as I have nothing left to sell nor anything I wish to buy.

FYI. The batteries have been sold for the price above.

Nothing I wouldn't say to your face, can see why you chose that username.

You mean the £12 that you said I would be lucky to get. You were wrong there as you are about not being able to send batteries by post!! Keep expressing your opinion - who knows one day you may actually be right.

Oh how I wish we could meet. I could tell you what I really thought of you. If you are ever in Kent look me up.

FYI grumps is my grandchildren’s variation of gramps. It shows that I at least have a sense of humour.

Enjoy your sad little life. Now go and pester someone else. I will be ignoring this thread and this forum now.

I look forward to your next post saying the guy who purchased the batteries didn't pay for them, just like your attempt with the camera. If you're going to write fiction, ( that's me being very polite ) on here or anywhere else, you need either a good memory or to check your previous posts. 18 posts on your first day as a member here in 2016 followed by more sales adds than Jessops must be a record. So glad to see you are going to ignore this forum as members here pride themselves in being honest.

I want to say, for the record, that I'm sad that this thread has become ill-tempered. I support the decision of one of the admin team to close the thread.

While the discussion started off well, it eventually deteriorated.

It's absolutely correct that posting used lithium ion batteries is pretty much impossible unless they are contained in a device they power.

The work-around suggestion was well intentioned, I am sure, but that's where it should have stopped. It's not the job of any member to pressure another member on any topic. It's also not helpful for a member who feels pressurised to react in a way that inflames the situation.

If anyone is unhappy with the way a discussion is unfolding, bring it to the attention of the admins via the report a post option.

The principle of 'agree to disagree' is one I highly recommend!
