I'm still wondering about the benefits of dual IS with my 12-100
Can't find anything definitive, therefore only way is to give it a try, so anyone selling a Mk II please
I don't think I'd buy a new body just to get dual IS unless slow shutter handheld work is critical to you. That said, the MkII is a significant upgrade from the MkI in plenty of other ways.
More often than not the light isnt great and I do use slow shutter speeds a fair bit.
I'll see what shows up and go from there, thanks for your reply and im still not totally convinced myself
Tram, the current offers on buying new are attractive. If you can put up with the palaver of selling, you could buy a new body, claim a free PRO lens, sell the lens and have a new body with warranty for less than a good second-hand one will likely cost.
Hi Tram,
I have two Em1 mk II’s and looking to sell. Both fully serviced by Olympus recently, one in Jan and the other in August. I’m travelling now, but back in London tomorrow, where I can take some photos of the cameras.
I’m looking to sell both toward a mkIII - let me know which part of the UK you’re in pls (here or over dm) - would prefer face to face sale as far as possible (Boris permitting of course)
cheers,
Keith
