Does that mean you changed your mind and decided to keep it or have you sold it elsewhere?

Re: Panasonic Leica 100-400mm lens
From what I've seen recently it's probably a wise choice. I'm beginning to regret not getting one myself at the Photo Show when they were selling them at a bargain price.

Re: Panasonic Leica 100-400mm lens
Jury is still out on mine. Ive been out again today with it on the EM1ii and yet again Ive been disappointed with the whole package for BIF. Just need Olympus to improve their focus tracking and it might then encourage me to use it more. As it is, when I do any serious bird or Aviation stuff it gets left at home and the Nikon kit comes out. That is a lot heavier but much more consistent results.

BreezeG it might be worth you contacting Jonathan Saull for aviation tips or Andy Elliott for BiF help. Jonathan did the Olympus talk and gave us loads of great tips at Duxford recently and Andy ran the excelent Fens Falconry session a few years ago and occasionally frequents this forum.

Re: Panasonic Leica 100-400mm lens
Graham if the 75-300 is perfectly good for you then you don't have a problem and are much richer
. Unfortunately my 75-300 got pinched and I eventually got a 40-150 plus 1.4TC that never really replaced it. I definitely miss that long zoom but it always seemed a bit slow and soft to me. Although looking at the quality of some of the 75-300 shots you and Ron (Olybirder) are posting maybe I should give one a second chance?
