    Olympus spec: https://www.olympus.co.uk/site/en/c/...120/index.html

Short version: A great lens in perfect working order but not a pristine show piece. However a great way to get the Rolls Royce of lenses at a Mondeo price! The tripod bracket is missing. Maybe a generic one could be sourced?

Long version: Condition wise: The glass is in excellent condition: I can't see any marks apart from a couple of light cleaning marks towards the outer edge of the front glass that I think I just put there wiping it with a lens cloth but I don;t like to keep wiping glass. The body looks good but it's not pristine. It has light user marks and one of the retaining tabs for the lens hood has broken off partially (by the "Zuiko Digital" script shown). The lens hood is really in "user" condition with lots of marks and the 82mm Olympus front cap is also marked. (Adapter not included in the sale).
An almost unique lens and one of the esteemed "Top Pro" range of Olympus finest 4/3rds lenses (the range consisted of: 7-14 F4, 14-35 F2, 35-100 F2, 90-250 F2.8, 150 F2, 300 F2.8). A super bright F2 flixed prime and, in light gathering terms, equivalent to a 300mm F2 telephoto.

While it is rather huge and heavy by 4/3rds and micro 4/3rds standards it's still comparatively small and light for the brightness and focal length it offers.

However, fit an Olympus EC14 or EC20 teleconverter and it becomes equivalent to a 420mm F2.8 or 600mm F4 (in full frame terms) in a comparatively very compact form factor. The image quality is said to hold together very well and possibly not degrade at all when mated to these 2 teleconverters.

    Great opportunity I'd say. Mal.
