Re: Olympus 7-14 pro
It's my opinion that f4 is fast enough for an ultra wide such as the 7-14, generally DoF is important, but YMMV as they say across the pond.
On the basis that less is more, I'm gradually reducing my large collection of 'optical glass'.
If someone wants to purchase a Panasonic 7-14 in pristine condition, let me know, it's like new.

So what's your target Steve? I feel I should do the same, but I can justify having all the lenses I've currently got - but they no longer all fit in my bagOriginally posted by Ricoh View PostIt's my opinion that f4 is fast enough for an ultra wide such as the 7-14, generally DoF is important, but YMMV as they say across the pond.

Re: Olympus 7-14 pro
Paul,
I'm a 'people and architecture' picture taker (or should that read: 'image creator'?) and medium wide is the best focal length for my 'get the camera in your face' style (no, not always) and alternate between 15 and 25, but I find the nearer I get to 35 equ. the better I like it. So out with anything telephoto, and the ultra wide is merely an occasional lens to keep 'the boss' happy.
Less is more. One lens one camera would be ideal. It's taken some time to realise this, but I now know what I need. It's a learning curve, I suppose.

Re: Olympus 7-14 pro
Dunno stumbled on a large add within one of the big camera mags. They always seem competitive online and not gready second hand wise. If they ever have a 75 on there im gunna take a punt.Originally posted by sosen13 View Postnever used camerajungle before. are they any good and reputable? thxAll the gear no idea
