Re: For Sale: OM-D-EM1 & Lenses
Just to clarify... I don't have a 'best' price on any of these items. I'd like the price I have given above. If you are serious about buying, make me an offer. I have been given PX prices on all of the items so if you come in somewhere near then the item is yours. We both win, you get a good deal and I get a little more for my kit. I won't be offended by any offer.

Re: For Sale: OM-D-EM1 & Lenses
As an Olympus user of many years and now also a Canon user I can see where Geoff is coming from. The majority of my photography is wildlife and especially birds. I have hundreds of excellent images captured with Olympus kit but most of these have been taken with DSLRs, my success rate with M4/3 being less than before. I bought into Canon principally because of AF issues, not only CAF but also the SAF with the single focus point on the EM1 not being small enough for a small bird in a large bush. The EM1 was a great improvement over the EM5 in this respect and it and the new Pro lenses continue that improvement. However my new Canon 7D mk2 is still considerably more reliable and has the advantage that so many more long lenses are available (still no sign of the Olympus 300mm Pro). Small single point AF on the Canon is more selective than the EM1 and the Evaluative AE works better for me on difficult subjects, especially in low light. However IQ wise the 16mpx of the EM1 is still up there with the 20mpx 7DII IMO and it's for that reason plus portability issues that I'm still hanging on to the Olympus, although it gets very little use nowdays. My new Sigma 150-600mm Sport is a gem with the Canon, will m4/3 ever have the availability of such exciting hardware?Originally posted by GeoffPowell View PostFocussing performance and CAF tracking are the main issues.
